Welcome to Modern Day Dog Training's one-week board and train program, where your pup receives personalized training in a safe and comfortable home environment. Located in San Tan Valley, AZ, our program is designed to provide effective, real-world training for your puppy in a low-stress setting—not in a kennel or facility. This ensures that behaviors practiced in the trainer’s home transition seamlessly into your own home. This package is ideal for puppies under 6 months of age.

What Your Puppy Will Learn:

During this program, your dog will learn foundational skills through positive reinforcement, including:

• Crate Training: An introduction to building comfort and confidence in the crate.

• Potty Training: Establishing consistent routines for success.

• Controlled Socialization: Positive exposure to new environments and experiences.

• Sit: Teaching your dog a practical everyday behavior and a wonderful alternative to jumping up on people.

• Name Recognition: Helping your dog respond reliably to their name.

• Recall (Come When Called): Building a dependable response in low to mid-distraction settings.

• Lie Down: Promoting calm and relaxed behavior.

• Body Handling and Grooming Desensitization: Preparing your dog to be comfortable with light grooming and necessary handling.

What’s Included:

Our package ensures a smooth training experience and successful transition back home. It includes:

• 1 Transfer Session: A detailed 1.5 to 2-hour session conducted in your home to teach you how to maintain and build upon your dog’s new skills.

• Daily Updates: Receive regular updates, including photos and or videos, to keep you informed on your dog’s progress.

• Continued Support: Receive two weeks of email support once your puppy is back home.

Deposit Policy:

A refundable deposit of $500 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the program. This deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the board and train services.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that unexpected circumstances may arise. However, due to the high demand for our programs and the time reserved for your dog’s training:

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before the program’s start date are eligible to receive a refund of the deposit.

• Cancellations made within 14 days of the program’s start date will forfeit the deposit.

By securing your spot with a deposit, you allow us to plan effectively and dedicate our resources to your dog’s training.
