Join us for a 5-week group class designed to help your adult dog develop essential obedience skills and better manners. This course will focus on obedience and manners. Perfect for dogs 6 months and older, this class is great for building a foundation of good behavior and effective communication between you and your dog using positive reinforcement training methods.

• Location: Kahoots Feed and Pet, San Tan Valley, AZ

• Cost: $200 for 5 one-hour classes

• Class Limit: 6 dogs per class (spaces are limited!)

• Class Requirements: Dogs must be 6 months or older, and all dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella). No shock, choke, or prong collars allowed; my goal is to train your dog so that you won’t need them! Positive reinforcement methods will be used throughout the course. Dogs must remain on leashes at all times, no retractable leashes allowed.

• Focus on You

• Leash Training

• Sit

• Lie Down

• Stay

• Leave It

• Drop It

• Recall (to come when called)

Important Note: This class is not suitable for reactive dogs. Reactivity in dogs refers to over-the-top, intense responses to stimuli such as other dogs, people, or environmental factors. These behaviors can include lunging, barking, or growling. If your dog is reactive, I would be happy to set up private training to work specifically on these issues and help you achieve your training goals.

What to Bring: Please bring high-value treats that your dog loves to class—these will be essential for positive reinforcement training.

For the safety and health of all dogs in the class, we require that your dog is up to date on their vaccinations. This includes Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. Please send a picture of your dog’s latest vaccine record via text or email at least 3 days before the first class date to ensure your spot in the class. This class is an entry-level course and does not require previous training experience. Whether your dog is starting their training journey or refining existing skills, this class is for you!

Spaces are limited: There is a maximum of 6 dogs per class, so don't wait to reserve your spot!

Please note: I understand life happens, and you may need to miss a class. However, to ensure the best experience and progress for all participants, I allow one missed class with the option for a make-up class. The make-up class will be in a different class rotation where you can catch up on the missed behaviors. Two or more missed classes will result in forfeited classes.
